Rev. Jim Monroe is Appointed CEO of Maua Methodist Hospital
A recent article in the Maua Methodist Hospital newsletter reports that Global Ministries’ individual volunteer Jim Monroe has been appointed acting CEO of the hospital:
The presiding (MCK) Bishop Rev. Joseph Ntombura has appointed Rev. Jim Monroe the acting CEO of Maua Methodist Hospital. The appointment took effect on January 15th, 2014. Jim and his wife Rev. Sue are individual volunteers with General Board of Global Ministries serving at Maua Methodist Hospital. The couple has been coming to Maua Methodist Hospital since 2006 leading Mission Teams from Oregon and Idaho Conferences.
While introducing Rev. Jim to the management, the presiding bishop urged the management team to work together and support the new CEO to bring the lost reputation of the hospital in the community. He reiterated that the Maua Methodist hospital will continue to improve its services and become the hospital of choice for the community. The management and staff have received the new CEO with jubilation and high expectations. Accepting the appointment Rev. Jim urged the Management team and hospital staff for their support as they embark in a new chapter of improving the hospital. “I will be visiting the different units and departments to strategize and plan for the expected changes,” said Rev. Jim in his remarks.
