Describe the need affecting the community.

In Nepal, women are the most vulnerable groups affecting due to Gender Based Violence which resulted into mental distress. These women are forced to live the abandoned and neglected life with mental distress. These women are treated as non-human beings by the community due to her mental health problems. That's why, the immediate need of psychiatric treatment is demanded to help these women get speedy recovery.

How will this Advance project help to address the need?

This will help such clients get treatment immediately which help them to recover in early phases. The project also will help them to reunite with their family.

Describe the primary goal of the project.

Help the GBV survivor women having mental health problem reintegrate and rehabilitate back to their family and communities with dignified identity. The project helps to provide the model practical support to these women with help in mainstreaming the service mechanism of the government.

Describe the change you would like to see in the community as a result of this Advance project.

The project wishes GBV survivors living equally respected life in the community.
