Connecting the Church in Mission

Global Ministries started working in Chile during the 1890s following earlier efforts in the late 1870s. In the 1970s the Methodist Church of Chile (IMECH) became autonomous. IMECH currently has approximately 8,000 members. One Global Ministries missionary works in UMVIM efforts. Global Ministries works closely with several institutional ministries including the Colegio Inglés, Iquique and the Sweet Institute. Currently, the priorities of Global Ministries include leadership development and community ministries.

Northern Illinois AC is closely working the IMECH. In addition, Global Ministries works with several ecumenical partners including FASIC and the Comunidad Teológica Evangélica de Chile.
