“Doing the GLOBAL MISSION FELLOWS - US-2 program after I graduated from college was the most exciting and scariest thing I had done in my short 21 years.  The lessons I learned from those two years were invaluable.  I was really on my own—3,000 miles from home. This was before our world became so connected with cell phones and Internet.  It was a time to explore my faith in an environment that pushed me out of my comfort zone.  It was a time to learn about my own strength, resources, and limitations apart from home and family and all things familiar.  I learned for the first time what it was like to fully trust in God and God's call in my life.  I worked on a college campus and had the wonderful experience of meeting people who were not at all like me, and it was wonderful.  After several years serving as a pastor of local congregations, I am back working with college students again!  The GLOBAL MISSION FELLOWS - US-2 program was invaluable experience both then and now.”
