Background/History
Though the DRCongo has one of the biggest dams in the world, most of the towns and villages are in the dark.
And 3/4 of villages in North Katanga are not supplied with electricity.
What is striking is that surgical operations in hospitals situated in rural areas are done with candles and the conservation of some vaccines is not good as no refrigerator can work in these areas.
Nevertheless the church has managed to give some generators in 4 medical formations.
The problem seems not to be solved since generators consume much fuel which is too expensive.
