Oklahoma UMC Conference

In Oklahoma 67% of Hispanics/Latinos are native born US citizens, and about 40% of Hispanic/Latino children dropout of school. The Hispanic/Latino department of the Oklahoma Annual Conference has ‘re-imagined’ its ministry to include ministries providing after school literacy programs to help alleviate this academic crisis, plus bilingual and multigenerational outreach to accommodate the demographic changes within our community. This video is a perfect example of what we hope to achieve.
