Connecting the Church in Mission

Africa

The United Methodist Church relates to all parts of Africa, but its major presence is south and east of the Sahara Desert. Mission takes into account the tremendous African population growth and the enormous health needs. There are more than 400 Advance projects and missionaries, which focus on church growth, prevention of diseases such as malaria and HIV/AIDS, poverty alleviation, conflict resolution and education.
